Hoy se celebra el cuarto centenario de la muerte de Miguel de Cervantes … y de William Shakespeare.
Hoy se otorga el premio literario más importante de la lengua española, el Premio de Literatura Española Cervantes.
Este año el ganador ha sido el escritor mejicano Fernando del Paso «[…] y es que desde hace 81 años y 22 días, cuando lloro, lloro en castellano; cuando me río, incluso a carcajadas, me río en castellano y cuando bostezo, toso y estornudo en castellano. Eso no es todo: también hablo, leo y escribo en castellano. […] Por cierto, también sueño en español.»

The rural house has 4 double rooms, two bathrooms, comunal kitchen and living room. The spanish lessons take place in the same premises. It is a 53 h property located in the big Bay of Fornells. Since 1853 it was partially devoted to the ‘flor de sal’ (an exquisite variety of marine salt). It is a protected area declared Natural Reserve.
Many other activities are available at the centre: Kayaks, bicycles, horse riding, and interesting guided walks whith an experienced ornithologist.
